Amazon Plane Crash Lawsuit Filed by Florida Widow
A Florida widow has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Amazon and its cargo airline after her husband was killed in a plane crash at Miami International Airport on September 6, 2026.
The lawsuit alleges that pilot error, inadequate training, and the age of the aircraft contributed to the crash. The plane, which was carrying contact lenses from Puerto Rico, overran a runway and struck a van carrying employees of an aircraft cleaning company.
Five people in the van died, including Yoel Rodriguez Naranjo, 53, who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash. His wife, Yaraisi Santiso Morejon, claims that multiple concurrent failures contributed to her husband's death.
