Amazon Prime Now Brings Whole Foods Grocery Delivery to Select Neighborhoods
Amazon's Prime Now delivery service has partnered with Whole Foods to bring groceries directly to customers' doors. This new partnership means that Amazon Prime members in select neighborhoods across America will be able to get fresh produce, meat, seafood, and other natural and organic products delivered within two hours.
The service is available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, with free delivery on orders over $35. For extra-fast delivery, Prime members can pay an additional $7.99. Currently, the service is only available in select neighborhoods in Austin, Cincinnati, Dallas, and Virginia Beach, but Amazon plans to expand it across the U.S. within the year.
According to Whole Foods co-founder and CEO John Mackey, this partnership will make Prime customers' lives 'even easier.' He stated that the companies have already lowered prices on many items, making this new service a convenient addition for customers.
