Amazon Saves Day for Prince Harry's Invictus Games with Big-Money Sponsorship Deal

Prince Harry's Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 has received a significant boost as Amazon is reportedly set to sponsor the event in a big-money deal. The e-commerce giant, led by Jeff Bezos, will provide financial support to cover the estimated £20million costs of hosting the games next year.

The sponsorship comes after Boeing, a previous major backer of the Invictus Games, declined to renew its partnership following the 2025 event in Whistler, Canada. The deal with Amazon is seen as a vital lifeline for Prince Harry's competition, which will take place from July 10 to 17 in Birmingham.

Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 is an independent UK-based charity that supports wounded, injured, and sick military veterans through adaptive sports. The games aim to inspire others through the resilience of these individuals, who will compete in 12 different sports.
