Amazon Sees Continued Institutional Investment as Eschler Asset Management Acquires New Stake

Eschler Asset Management LLP has acquired a new stake in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) worth approximately $486,000. The company purchased 2,040 shares of Amazon's stock during the second quarter.

This is not the only institutional investor to acquire a stake in Amazon recently. Auto Owners Insurance Co raised its position by 27,376.7% in the fourth quarter and now owns 98,448,885 shares valued at $2,272,397,000. Other investors such as Bank of New York Mellon Corp, Legal & General Group Plc, Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management Co. Ltd., and The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company also purchased new positions in Amazon.

Amazon's market capitalization is $2.75 trillion, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 20.51 and a beta of 1.44. The company has a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.23 and a current ratio of 1.03.
