JPMorgan Sees India Economy Tripling by 2035: Dimon
JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon believes India's economy could nearly triple in size over the next decade, citing plans to expand the company's operations in the country.
Speaking at a recent event, Dimon noted that JPMorgan has significantly increased its presence in India since he first visited the country in 2005. The bank now employs 60,000 professionals across various technical areas and investment banking, up from just 6,000 in 2025.
The CEO stated that JPMorgan currently covers nearly 200 Indian companies through its research operations and works with multinational corporations and Indian businesses looking to expand overseas. He expressed optimism about India's economic prospects, highlighting the country's potential for growth and development.
