Amazon Stake Grows as Okabena Increases Holdings by 45.8%

Okabena Investment Services Inc. increased its stake in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) by 45.8% during the second quarter, according to a recent Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The firm acquired an additional 4,201 shares of Amazon's stock, bringing its total holdings to 13,369 shares worth $3,186,000 as of its most recent SEC filing.

This is not the only change in stake among hedge funds and other institutional investors. Several firms have made adjustments to their positions in Amazon.com during the second quarter, including Bard Associates Inc., Longfellow Investment Management Co. LLC, Lifetime Wealth Management P.C., Prudent Man Investment Management Inc., and Strategic Wealth Advisors LLC.

Amazon's stock opened at $249.67 on Monday with a market capitalization of $2.69 trillion. The company reported $5.75 earnings per share for the quarter, beating consensus estimates by $3.93.
