Amazon's stock price fell by about 0.28% on Tuesday morning trading to $245.46, following the release of new AI tools in its September 28 AWS roundup.

The launches include OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol and Luna alongside Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5, as well as CloudWatch Omni for monitoring applications and AI agents, and SageMaker HyperPod gateway that can cut first-token latency by up to 82% in mixed-hardware and bursty scenarios.

The new additions aim to provide developers with more choices for running AI on AWS, but the real test lies in how much revenue these activities will generate. Bedrock has expanded its model choice with OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol and Luna, which could potentially lead to increased computing and storage demand.
