Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday is leading a group of 22 states in suing Amazon over alleged deceptive practices. The company is accused of secretly inflating prices in its ad auctions on its website and apps, forcing more than one million brands and sellers to pay higher fees to advertise.

Sunday claimed that by doing so, Amazon made tens of billions of dollars from its advertisers. This includes those in Pennsylvania who sell over 100 million items annually, including groceries and clothing.

The lawsuit alleges that Amazon hid this practice from its advertisers, leading them to pay additional surcharges which increased prices for consumers.
