Bangladesh Buys Boeing Planes in Multi-Billion Dollar Deal

The government of Bangladesh has entered into an agreement to purchase 14 Boeing aircraft from the United States, valued at $3.7 billion.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat announced the deal on Monday, stating that the US had requested Bangladesh use Boeing aircraft and the government was acting accordingly.

The minister also mentioned plans to lease additional aircraft, but did not provide further details.
