Amazon Suspends Operations with 21 Air After Miami Cargo Plane Crash

Amazon has suspended operations with 21 Air LLC after a cargo plane crashed in Miami last week, killing five people on the ground. The Boeing 767 plane, operated by 21 Air, overshot the runway and crashed into vehicles while landing.

A spokesperson for Amazon said that safety is always the company's top priority, both in its own operations and when working with partners. Kelly Nantel stated that Amazon has decided to pause its operations with 21 Air after reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The crash occurred on September 6, and investigators are still reviewing flight data and cockpit voice recorders from the plane. The two pilots who were injured in the crash have been released from the hospital.
