Amazon's $50 Denim Line Proves to Be a Hidden Gem
Amazon's in-house denim line, Amazon Essentials, has been making waves since its launch last October. The brand offers a range of affordable denim options, with every item priced under $50.
The writer tested out two workwear-inspired pieces: the Rigid Relaxed-Fit Workwear Carpenter Jeans and the Low Stretch Regular-Fit Denim Jacket. After 10 months of use, they found that the jeans had held up well, although they were initially stiff. The lack of stretch in the fabric made them prone to wrinkling, but several washes later, they loosened up.
The writer also noted that the pockets on the jeans were surprisingly spacious and deep, perfect for storing small accessories. They also appreciated the cargo/utility pocket on the right leg, which could fit a phone or tools.
As for the denim jacket, it was an unexpected hit. The writer was initially skeptical but found it to be surprisingly comfortable off the rack. It also had ample storage space and a versatile design that made it suitable for both work and casual wear.
