AMD Valuation Soars Past $1 Trillion as Nvidia Remains Ahead
AMD's stock has skyrocketed nearly 200% this year, pushing its market cap to $1 trillion. While it surpasses Nvidia in valuation, Nvidia remains larger with a market cap of $5.5 trillion.
Nvidia's data center division saw 117% growth year-over-year, with revenue reaching $89 billion. Its overall growth rate was also faster at 106%, rising to $96.2 billion.
AMD, on the other hand, has a more expensive stock price compared to Nvidia. AMD trades at 158 times trailing earnings and 81 times 2026 estimates, while Nvidia's PE ratio is less than 30 times trailing earnings.
Nvidia's lower valuation and strong growth make it a compelling investment opportunity, according to analysts. If the market corrects itself, investors could expect a significant upside from Nvidia's stock price.
