AMEX Boosts My Travel Insurance with Welcome Gifts and Extra Rewards

American Express has launched new welcome gifts for its My Travel Insurance plans. From now until October 31, customers who purchase an annual policy will receive a S$60 or S$120 eCapitaVoucher or Samsonite luggage, depending on the plan selected. Additionally, cardholders who buy their policies through a referral link will receive extra rewards in the form of MR points or KrisFlyer miles.

The welcome gifts are available for annual My Travel Insurance policies purchased between September 1 and October 31. The Superior plan offers up to S$2 million coverage for overseas medical expenses, personal liability, accidental death, and more.

Cardholders can earn rewards on their purchases by using the AMEX Solitaire PPS Credit Card or other eligible cards, which offer a general spending rate of 1.3 mpd or higher.
