Amex Brings Centurion Lounge to Amsterdam Schiphol
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is set to welcome its first-ever Centurion Lounge on September 17, courtesy of American Express. This will be not only the Dutch airport's first lounge but also continental Europe's first Centurion-branded lounge and the company's 33rd location worldwide.
The nearly 6,000-square-foot facility is located between Concourses E and F and features floor-to-ceiling windows, a staffed Blue Roast Coffee Bar, a full bar, seasonal buffet, quiet workspaces, telephone room, and various seating areas. The design draws inspiration from Amsterdam's canals, canal houses, and Dutch landscapes, incorporating blue, green, and earth tones alongside black quartzite, brass, and wood.
The lounge will offer food combining Dutch and wider European influences, while the coffee bar serves locally sourced coffee prepared by baristas. Eligible American Express cardholders now have access to over 1,550 lounges worldwide through the company's Global Lounge Collection. Further Centurion locations are planned at Newark and Boston, with an additional Sidecar lounge scheduled for Charlotte.
