Amex Offers 60k Avios Bonus for BA Premium Plus Cardholders

American Express is offering new cardholders of its British Airways Premium Plus card a generous bonus of 60,000 Avios if they spend £6,000 within three months. This deal expires on October 6 and requires applicants to earn at least £35,000 annually.

The card itself comes with an annual fee of £300, but users can cancel after the bonus is received for a partial refund. It's worth noting that this offer excludes recent holders of either BA Amex card, although other Amex cards do not disqualify applicants.

Travelers who take advantage of this deal will also see changes to the card's rewards structure starting on October 7, with base earning dropping to 1.25 Avios per pound and bonus BA spending coming to an end. Tier points will still accrue at £10 per point, capped at 3,000 yearly.
