Amex Offers Up to 30,000 Points for Adding Premium Cards in Canada

American Express is running its Add a Card bonus event for Canadian personal cardholders until October 29, 2026. During this period, premium cards like Platinum and Aeroplan Reserve will award 30,000 points per added card after just $3,000 in spending.

Eligible personal cards include Platinum, Aeroplan Reserve, Cobalt, and Gold Rewards, with bonuses ranging from 2,500 to 30,000 points or statement credits. Business cards are excluded from this promotion.

Cardholders can add up to two supplementary cards per account, and spending must occur within three months of approval. Annual fees apply to some added cards, but there are several no-fee options available.
