Amex Platinum Cardholders Get Global Lounge Access
American Express Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders now have access to over 1,550 global airport lounges worldwide. This includes Centurion Lounges, Delta Sky Clubs, and Priority Pass locations.
To gain entry, cardmembers must show their valid ID, boarding pass, and eligible Amex card at each venue. Cardholders can visit 16 U.S. Centurion Lounges, with new ones planned in Newark and Boston.
International access spans 15 lounges across 11 airports, including London, Tokyo, and Sydney. However, some venues enforce time windows before departure, requiring a same-day boarding pass, valid ID, and the eligible Amex card for entry.
Lounge policies vary: guests cost $50 for adults or $30 for children aged two to 17. Some lounges offer expedited entry via QR codes.
Lufthansa lounge access ends October 1, so cardholders should plan ahead to make the most of their benefits. Enrollment is mandatory for Priority Pass Select lounges, and Delta Sky Club visits are capped at 10 annually unless spending thresholds are met.
