Amgen Crushes Q2 Earnings Expectations With Strong Revenue Growth
Amgen Inc., a global biotechnology company, reported strong second-quarter results, exceeding $10 billion in revenue and raising its 2026 guidance. The growth was led by Repatha, EVENITY, TEZSPIRE, rare-disease medicines, oncology products, and biosimilars.
The company's six identified growth drivers increased at a combined 26% year-over-year and represented nearly 70% of product sales. Key products such as Repatha saw a 37% increase in sales to $953 million, while EVENITY sales grew 38% to $714 million.
Amgen also reported a 33% decline in sales for its bone-health products Prolia and XGEVA due to biosimilar competition. However, the company generated $3.5 billion in free cash flow and raised its quarterly dividend 6% to $2.52 per share.
