Amgen Dazzles with Positive Phase 3 Results for Sjogren's Treatment
Amgen Inc., a biotechnology company, reported positive Phase 3 results for its treatment dazodalibep in systemic Sjogren's disease. The study showed a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in systemic disease activity at week 48 for adults with moderate-to-severe Sjogren's disease.
The result adds a late-stage autoimmune asset to Amgen's pipeline, but the commercial value depends on further clinical and regulatory milestones. The OASIZ 303 study is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2026, giving investors a defined next data point for the program.
Amgen generated $10.05 billion in revenue in the second quarter of 2026, up 9.50 percent from the same quarter a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $6.29, compared with a $5.62 consensus estimate.
The company maintained adjusted full-year 2026 earnings-per-share guidance of $22.30 to $23.50 and paid a quarterly dividend of $2.52 per share.
