Amgen Expands in Hyderabad with New Research Centre
Amgen, a global biotechnology company, is expanding its operations in Hyderabad by establishing a state-of-the-art Research and Innovation Centre at Genome Valley. This move further solidifies Telangana's position as a leading destination for life sciences research and innovation.
The centre will create employment opportunities for highly skilled professionals and contribute to Hyderabad's emergence as a global hub for advanced life sciences research. Amgen already has a presence in the city with its Global Capability Centre (GCC), which was established recently with around 3,000 employees.
Amgen India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana, led by IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by senior officials and representatives from both parties.
