Anna University Taps Boeing India for Groundbreaking Flammability Research Lab

Anna University's Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) Campus has partnered with Boeing India Pvt. Ltd. to establish a Flammability Learning Laboratory.

The proposed facility, expected to be globally unique and the first dedicated academic space for flammability research, testing, and training within an academic institution, will provide students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in flammability science and safety.

The laboratory is envisioned as a hub for academic-industry collaboration and innovation in aerospace flammability, supporting research, training, and innovation.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on September 22 by Professor C. Senthilkumar, Manager M. Amirtha Ganesan from Boeing India, Registrar V. Kumaresan, and Legal Section Coordinator M. Santhakumar.
