Anthropic Postpones IPO Marketing to Mid-October
AI developer Anthropic has delayed its initial public offering (IPO) marketing to mid-October, aiming for a listing in November before the U.S. midterm elections.
The company is currently focusing on securing a $15 billion revolving credit facility, a critical step for its public market entry. This funding buffer is considered essential for Anthropic's transition to a publicly traded entity.
Once this facility is fully secured, lead underwriters Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup are expected to move forward with the next stages of the IPO process, including investor meetings.
