Apple Duo Pricing Revealed: Will Foldable iPhone Kick-Start Upgrade Cycle?

Apple's 'Surprise and Shine' event has concluded, revealing its latest iPhone Pro models, new AirPods, Apple Watch Series 12, and a highly anticipated foldable iPhone called the Duo.

The products have generated a lot of buzz among tech enthusiasts, but nothing drastically different from what was expected. The iPhone 18 Pro will be available on September 18, contributing modestly to this quarter's sales, while the Duo won't hit shelves until late October.

The base price for the iPhone 18 Pro model starts at $1,199 or $34.99 through Apple's Upgrade program, which is partnered with Klarna. The Duo begins at $1,999 or $83.99 per month for 24 months under this program.

Apple demonstrated its updated AI capabilities and Siri on the new iPhone and Apple Watch products, as well as the foldable design and multiscreen features of the Duo in a seamless presentation. These demos are expected to kick-start the iPhone upgrade cycle.
