Apple Nears Exclusive $5 Trillion Club with New iPhone and AI Strategy
Apple's market capitalization briefly crossed $5 trillion on Tuesday after shares of the tech giant hit an intraday high, driven by excitement over the new iPhone 18 Pro and foldable iPhone Duo.
The milestone was reached when Apple shares touched a price of $345.34, before ending the day at $339.75 with a market capitalization of $4.96 trillion.
This is not the first time Apple has come close to this threshold; it had also crossed the $5 trillion mark earlier in the year during intraday trading on July 28 and 29.
Nvidia remains the only company that has closed above the $5 trillion market capitalization, but analysts predict Apple could join it soon due to strong product demand and a disciplined AI spending strategy.
