Apple Sees Growth Under New CEO Ternus With Foldables, AI Servers, and India Expansion
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has made significant strides under its new CEO, John Ternus. The company's first product event under his leadership showcased promising results, particularly with the launch of the iPhone Duo, a foldable smartphone that grabbed headlines.
The device is powered by Apple's latest A20 Pro chip and comes with a starting price of $1,999. Additionally, the company is planning to introduce Apple Pay in India through Axis Bank credit cards, following regulatory changes that allow biometric authentication for card payments.
Apple is also exploring a return to the enterprise server market with an AI-focused server designed primarily for inference workloads, utilizing its M-series chips that combine performance with efficient power consumption. This move would enable the company to address local inference requirements of governments, businesses, and AI developers.
