Apple Stock Poised to Break Record as iPhone Demand Remains Strong
Apple's stock is nearing its record high, and analysts believe it could reach $400 per share. One reason for this optimism is the continued strength in iPhone demand, which will likely drive revenue and earnings higher. The company generated $109.4 billion in revenue in the fiscal third quarter, with the iPhone contributing $54.3 billion, up 22% from the same quarter a year earlier.
The iPhone's importance to Apple's business cannot be overstated, accounting for roughly half of the company's quarterly revenue. The product segment also demonstrated strong momentum, with revenue reaching $78.7 billion, an 18% year-over-year increase.
Analysts point out that a higher proportion of existing users upgrading to newer devices will support monetization across Apple's hardware, software, and services ecosystem. This growth is expected to be driven by the launch of new iPhone models, which could stimulate a stronger upgrade cycle.
