Turkish Airlines has finalized an agreement with Boeing to purchase up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The deal, reached after negotiations began in 2025, is part of the airline's long-term growth strategy and aims to strengthen its short- and medium-haul network.

The agreement involves a firm order for 100 Boeing 737-8 aircraft, with options for an additional 50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. This flexibility will allow Turkish Airlines to adjust fleet capacity according to passenger demand and operational requirements.

Speaking about the deal, Murat Seker, chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, said: 'This agreement represents an important step in line with our strategy to expand our fleet.'
