Apple Unveils First Foldable iPhone Amid Market Competition
Apple is set to unveil its first-ever foldable iPhone at today's annual product event, which is expected to face fierce competition from Samsung and Chinese brands Xiaomi and Huawei. Analysts are optimistic that this product will drive Apple's stock price higher.
The new device features a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display, providing 90% of the screen area of the iPhone 18 Pro. It is powered by the A20 Pro chip, which delivers up to 35% better sustained performance than its predecessors.
The foldable iPhone's advanced camera system includes a 48MP main camera and a new computational imaging pipeline, allowing for zero shutter lag shooting and supporting 4K120 fps recording. The device also features an eco-friendly design, with 35% recycled materials aligning with Apple's goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
