Apple Unveils First Foldable iPhone, iPhone Duo, Starting at $1,999
Apple Inc. has officially launched its first-ever foldable iPhone, dubbed iPhone Duo, starting at $1,999 for a model with 256GB of storage.
The device features a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR panel on the inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display, providing more than 90% of the screen area of the iPhone 18 Pro.
iPhone Duo's hinge is designed to keep the inner screen flat when open, with precision components controlling the opening and closing motion.
The phone comes in Star White and Night Sky colors and features a titanium frame, Touch ID, Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, and an IP68 rating.
iPhone Duo supports Apple Pencil later this year, has dual capture capabilities for simultaneous recording from both displays, and offers up to 31 hours of video playback when using the inner display and up to 44 hours with the outer display.
