Apple's Foldable iPhone Duo Could Sell 6 Million Units in 2026

Counterpoint Research is predicting that Apple's new foldable iPhone, dubbed the Duo, could sell as many as 6 million units this year. This projection comes despite the device's high price tag of $1,999 for the base model with 256 GB of storage and up to 2 TB of storage.

The total sales revenue would amount to a significant $12 billion if Counterpoint's prediction becomes reality. However, it is essential to note that actual sales depend on various factors such as storage configurations and other options.

A recent analysis by Counterpoint suggests that the Duo has helped Apple increase panel procurement for its smartphones. The research firm found that Apple purchased more panels for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo compared to last year's models.
