Coca-Cola Bottling Plant Hit by Thieves, Multiple Arrests Made in Gillette

A Coca-Cola bottling plant in Gillette was hit by thieves who broke into a vending machine and made off with about $2,000 worth of drinks. The incident occurred at some point on Monday, according to Eric Vos, Police Capt. The thieves broke the locking mechanism on the machine and stole around 10 cases of beverages.

Meanwhile, police also reported other incidents in the area, including a car theft, a drug bust, and an arrest for driving under suspension. A man was arrested after deputies found a meth pipe, syringe filled with liquid meth, and unlisted amount of raw marijuana in his vehicle.

In another incident, a minor was ticketed for possession of Coors Light beer in his vehicle at Westwood High School. The driver claimed the beer must have been left in his car from a weekend party.
