Arca Continental Expands San Antonio Facility with $42M Investment

Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages has completed a $42 million expansion project at its San Antonio facility, adding a second production line and increasing warehouse space by 170,000 square feet. The new production line will produce mini Coke, Coke Zero, and Sprite cans to meet growing demand for these products. In total, the plant produces cans of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, Fanta, Sprite, and Sprite Zero Sugar.

The expansion increases warehouse capacity by 20%, allowing the company to better manage seasonal fluctuations in demand. The facility serves over 31 million consumers in Texas, as well as parts of New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. It operates seven production plants and 37 distribution facilities.

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages president Susanne Brady-Lusk stated that the San Antonio facility is a crucial location for their operations, with the expansion reflecting confidence in the region's growth potential. The company has invested heavily in Texas, including opening a new production and distribution plant in Houston and expanding its Fort Worth facility.
