Boeing has announced it will sell several of its units specializing in flying taxi and drone technologies to Archer Aviation. The California-based company, Archer, will take over Boeing's Wisk, SkyGrid, and Insitu units. These units focus on designing and building uncrewed aircraft as well as air traffic management systems.

The sale is part of Boeing's efforts to concentrate on its core commercial and defense units. This move allows Archer to expand its capabilities in the autonomous flight sector.
