ARM Shares Soar as CEO Predicts Record-Breaking Revenue
ARM Holdings PLC Sponsored ADR (ARM) shares surged about 17% after CEO Rene Haas expressed optimism about the company's future. In a recent statement, Haas said demand for Arm's technology is 'off the charts.' This surge in demand has led to a significant increase in revenue targets for the company's AGI CPU business.
The CEO pointed out that ARM may exceed $2 billion in revenue for its AGI CPU business. In September, the company reported a pipeline of over $2 billion. However, Haas also highlighted potential supply chain constraints, including wafer, substrate, and testing supply limitations that could last several years.
ARM's technology has gained significant traction in recent times, with IBM integrating ARM technology into its enterprise mainframes. This integration enables native ARM execution on mainframe hardware, further solidifying ARM's presence in the data-center server market.
