Aspire Amex Lounge Opens in Calgary, Expanding Premium Airport Hospitality

Aspire Pre-Flight Hospitality has expanded its partnership with American Express by opening a co-branded lounge at Calgary International Airport. The new facility, located in Concourse A near Gate A21, is the second such lounge to open in Canada and offers eligible American Express Cardmembers priority access.

The lounge features 109 seats, high-speed wifi, and personal charging points. It's designed with a Canadian après-ski aesthetic, incorporating nature-inspired color palettes and wood panelling. Aspire partnered with local restaurant Charcut to develop the food and beverage offer, which includes small plates with table service and grab-and-go options.

Aspire has also partnered with cocktail and wine bar Missy's for the drinks selection. The lounge is open daily from 5am to 10pm. This expansion forms part of Aspire's growing portfolio of airport lounges, which spans its own Aspire Lounges as well as airline, alliance, bank, and credit-card lounge partnerships.

Aspire welcomes more than 6 million guests annually across its 110 open or scheduled-to-open worldwide locations. The company's development pipeline includes future openings in Stockholm, Geneva, Marrakesh, Manchester, Vilnius, and Calgary.
