Back-to-School Scammers Target College Students

As students return to college for another year, scammers are looking to take advantage of unsuspecting young adults.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is warning consumers about common and emerging threats during the back-to-school season.

To help prevent scams and protect their money and personal information, Chase hosts over 1,000 free fraud and scam prevention workshops each year in communities across the country.

This month, Chase has specifically focused on hosting workshops for students to teach them how to recognize scams and stay safe online during the back-to-school season.
