The State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Humaiun Kobir, has assured that there is no hidden agenda behind the recent agreement signed with Boeing to expand Biman's fleet.

Bangladesh aims to become a regional aviation hub and needs to increase its fleet size accordingly, according to Humaiun.

The country has finalized an agreement with Boeing to acquire 11 new aircraft following Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's trip to the 81st session of the UNGA in New York, where he met with international stakeholders.
