Bayou L'Ours Man Charged with 36 Counts of Child Sex Abuse Material

Aroldo Paniagua Rocha, 28, has been arrested in Assumption Parish, Louisiana, on dozens of child sex crimes charges.

The investigation began after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about 300 images depicting sexually explicit children under 13 that were uploaded to a Google account between October 2023 and July 2026.

Deputies identified Rocha as the owner of the IP address connected to the illegal material, which was found on an Elaine Street property in Bayou L'Ours.
