Beloved Husband, Father, and Community Leader Passes Away at 88
Ralph Maglisceau, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on April 14, 1938, in Olean, New York, to Albert and Louise Maglisceau, Ralph grew up in North Tonawanda, where his parents taught at the local high school.
After briefly serving in the US Army, Ralph worked for IBM for over 30 years, earning recognition for his ability to bring people together. He lived in various cities across the country with his family, including Baltimore, Boston, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
In retirement, Ralph taught graduate classes at the College of Santa Fe and business classes at the Institute of American Indian Arts. He also volunteered as a high school and college football referee for over 40 years.
