Bettys & Taylors Names New Managing Directors Amid Leadership Transition
The Yorkshire family business behind Bettys Café tea rooms and Yorkshire Tea has announced two new managing directors as part of its 'planned evolution' of leadership. Fiona Fox will join Taylors of Harrogate, blenders of Yorkshire Tea, as managing director this autumn. She comes from a background in senior roles at Mars and Procter & Gamble.
Prior to her appointment, Fox was the chief commercial officer for Inspired Pet Nutrition for three-and-a-half years. Paul Coupe has been appointed managing director of Bettys. He has worked with the business for over nine years and most recently served as Operations Director across both Bettys and Taylors businesses.
The appointments follow planned leadership transitions by the current managing directors, Andy Brown and Simon Eyles. Brown will step down as managing director of Taylors but remain chair elect ahead of succeeding Clare Morrow in March 2027. Morrow is set to retire then.
