Jeff Bezos filed to sell 15 million Amazon shares worth approximately $4.1 billion after the stock reached an all-time high of $287.20 and pushed Amazon's market capitalization above $3 trillion for the first time.

The sale falls under a prearranged trading plan, which was established by Bezos on November 14, 2025. Under this plan, he can sell up to 15 million shares through February 26, 2027, subject to predetermined conditions.

Amazon's record-breaking rally was driven by stronger-than-expected second quarter results, including a 37% year-over-year growth in Amazon Web Services revenue and a 20% increase in total revenue.
