Big Tech Giants Boost Dividend Payouts Amid Market Volatility
Dividend payouts have been on the rise for several major companies this week. Microsoft MSFT led the pack by increasing its dividend payment to $0.98 per share, a 7.7% jump from last quarter's $0.91.
JPMorgan Chase JPM also raised its dividend payout to $1.65 per share, a 10% increase over the previous amount of $1.5.
Other notable increases include McDonald's MCDDividend payment, which rose to $1.93 per share from $1.86, and a 3.8% hike in dividend payments from Bristol-Myers Squibb Company BMY to $0.63 per share.
Meanwhile, several companies have declared new dividends for the first time this week, including American Eagle Outfitters AEO at $0.125 per share and Colgate-Palmolive CL at $0.53 per share.
