BlueVoyant Rolls Out Microsoft ISOC Deployment Service Amidst Operational Debt Concerns
BlueVoyant has launched a Microsoft Defender XDR ISOC Deployment Service to help organizations prepare for Microsoft's integrated security operations center (SOC) push. The service assesses existing deployments, configures underlying technologies, and operationalizes detections, workflows, and automation.
The new service is designed for Microsoft 365 E5 and E7 customers and Microsoft Defender Suite users. BlueVoyant's Micah Heaton, executive director of Microsoft Product and Innovation Strategy, said that the biggest barrier to agentic security adoption may not be access to AI itself, but 'operational debt.'
Heaton explained that customers already own significant security capabilities, but data can be fragmented, detections aren't always tuned, workflows aren't consistent, and automation is often underutilized. The new service aims to help customers put these foundations in place before expanding agents' roles within the SOC.
The ISOC Deployment Service includes a no-cost readiness assessment, which evaluates what's already deployed, identifies areas of fragmentation, and outlines necessary steps for a scoped ISOC deployment. Implementation is tied to the customer's environment and license levels.
