The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has concluded that a software bug found in Boeing's 737 MAX 10 aircraft does not pose a safety concern.

The glitch, which was discovered during the certification process, can cause an automated navigation feature to fail when planes shift their approach to landing.

However, FAA safety experts determined that pilots retain full control of the aircraft and receive clear indications in such situations.

Boeing will send a bulletin to airlines detailing the issue and instructing employees on how to respond if it occurs.
