Boeing Hit With Retaliation Lawsuit Over Alleged Safety Shortcomings

A federal contract compliance expert at Boeing has filed a lawsuit against the company alleging retaliation for speaking out about safety and health issues.

Randall Fauver, who joined Boeing in 1989 and became the compliance leader for its defense, space, and security business, claims the company violated several federal laws by taking away his job duties after he informed federal agencies of alleged shortcomings.

The complaint alleges that Boeing's actions are in violation of the Defense Contractor Whistleblower Act and the False Claims Act, among other laws.
