Boeing Locks In Turkish Airlines Deal for Up to 150 737 MAX Jets
Boeing has finalized an agreement with Turkish Airlines to supply up to 150 of its 737 MAX jets. The deal includes a firm order for 100 737-8 aircraft and options for 50 additional planes, including substitution rights for the 737-10.
The agreement is significant as it marks one of the largest narrowbody orders in recent history. Boeing's pursuit of MAX backlog rebuild has been ongoing, and this deal provides a boost to the company's production visibility and revenue pipeline.
It's worth noting that Turkish Airlines already has an existing relationship with Boeing, having ordered up to 75 787 Dreamliners last year. This latest agreement reinforces Boeing's ability to meet customer demand for both widebody and narrowbody aircraft.
