Boeing Names Ryan L. Shedd as New Senior Vice President and Controller
Boeing has announced that Ryan L. Shedd will become its new Senior Vice President and Controller, effective after the company files its Form 10-K for 2026. Shedd, a 41-year-old Assurance Partner at Ernst & Young LLP, brings nearly two decades of experience to the role. He will succeed Michael J. Cleary, who plans to retire in 2027 after over two decades with Boeing.
Shedd's compensation package includes an annual base salary of $600,000 and eligibility for an annual incentive award targeted at 70% of his base salary. Starting in 2027, he will also be eligible for a long-term incentive award worth 170% of his base salary. Additionally, Shedd will receive a one-time cash sign-on award of $300,000, subject to repayment conditions.
The appointment marks a significant change in Boeing's finance leadership and follows the company's filing of its Form 10-K for 2026. Shedd's experience as an Assurance Partner at Ernst & Young will likely be valuable assets to the company as it navigates complex financial regulations and reporting requirements.
