Boeing Secures Major Orders Across Aircraft Families
Boeing has secured major orders across its aircraft families, including the 737 MAX, 777-8 Freighter, and 787 Dreamliner. The deals were announced in late September 2026 with several airline partners.
The agreements include an order from Ethiopian Airlines for eight 777-8 Freighters and two 777 Freighters. This extends Boeing's widebody freighter backlog and ties Ethiopian more tightly to the 777X family after its earlier purchase of a 777-9.
Boeing's investment narrative remains focused on long-term growth, with analysts projecting US$125.6b in revenue and US$7.9b in earnings by 2029. This assumes 10.9% yearly revenue growth and an increase in earnings of US$6b from US$1.9b today.
