Boeing Trails Behind Airbus in Commercial Aircraft Deliveries
Boeing's delivery numbers continue to trail behind those of its European rival Airbus. In July, Boeing delivered 53 commercial aircraft to customers, a decrease from June's 64 units and below the 67 aircraft delivered by Airbus during the same period.
The gap between the two manufacturers has widened in recent months, with Airbus delivering 418 aircraft to airlines and leasing companies for the first seven months of 2026. Boeing, on the other hand, has managed 367 deliveries over the same period, a slight improvement from last year's figure of 328.
Despite the slowdown, Boeing is aiming for higher delivery numbers in August, targeting more than 60 aircraft to prevent further widening of its annual targets shortfall.
