Boeing Wins $241 Million Navy Contract to Repair Flight Control Surfaces
The US Department of War has awarded Boeing a $241.3 million contract to repair flight control surfaces for Navy F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft.
The delivery order was issued under a basic ordering agreement from 2022, and Boeing will repair nine different configurations of flight control surfaces for the Navy planes.
Most of the work, accounting for 83% of the contract, will take place in Jacksonville, Florida, with the remaining 17% done in St. Louis, Missouri. The project is expected to be completed by September 2032.
